Victorian Transoms
Copper foiled and hand cut glass. All clear textured art
glass highlighted by the use of clear beveled glass and faceted
jewels.

As the project continued and finalized with
addition of two elongated transom windows, it gave a sense
of closure to theme and the overall atmosphere of the room.
The transoms were designed to only compliment not overpower
the center windows.

Close up to the panel you can
see the foiled lead lines that have been detailed with an
antique black patina solution. The use of patina treats the
surface of the lead and turns it to a dark almost pitch black
color. This accent will define the surrounding glass and accentuate
the glass properties.

| Art is
beauty revealed through a medium, a medium is the vehicle through
which the artist creates and brings life to a subject. RT 2003 |
| Like the grace of a woman's figure,
the subtle curves of her movement we are fascinated by the ever
changing element of light and movement. This project was a pleasure
and an experience to become intimately involved with theme,
neutrality, movement and a style of the past century. I know
these windows will endure their time on earth and part of my
legacy will endure with them. Many thanks to the homeowners
for letting us into their homes and life's. |
