Once you have linked to any page other than the main Designer 1 page you can always return to the home page by selecting the text "Designer" located on every page at the upper right hand corner.

On the main screen in the middle and lower half you will notice "Pattern Start Instructions". Just click the text and a text file will open in your systems "Notepad". Read this information and close the file. Hint: from the file pull down menu within Notepad select word wrap, as this will make the information easier to read.

300 Patterns Bookshelf

Bookshelf launches a separate and independent program from the Designer 1 screens. The first and left most book is comprised of instructions on viewing and printing

Using The Program

The books above are included in the 300 Patterns Bookshelf. Each opens a separate set of patterns with the Instructions Book used as a guide to learn how to navigate, print and use the special features the program has to offer.

The most important feature provided by Album when browsing through the pages is the flipping paradigm reciprocating the actual page flips of a book. Just like in an actual book, the pages can be accessed sequentially or a page jump can be made to any selected page. This can be achieved by using the mouse to click on the pages or clicking on the page edge thickness representation.
The Overview page, allows the user a preview of all the images in the album. To view the thumbnail in more detail, simply click on the thumbnail to preview the image in full size, or click on the filename above the thumbnail to flip to the corresponding page in the album.
The Contents page displays a list of the album images and the corresponding page numbers on which they appear. Just like clicking on the filename above the thumbnail in the Overview page, click on an entry in the Contents page to flip to the corresponding page in the album.
The Index page is located at the back of the album and contains an alphabetical list of the objects in the album, along with the page numbers in which they appear. Clicking on an index entry will flip the album to the corresponding page.
To adjust the flipping speed: Click Options on the menu bar and click Set Flipping Speed. The Set Flipping Speed Dialog Box will be displayed. Move the pointer along the bar under Flipping Speed to adjust the flipping speed (5% - 75%).Click Test Flip >> or << Test Flip button to view the speed.
